From March 26 to 29, 2025, H.E. Mr. Pham Quang Hieu, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Japan, paid an official visit to four provinces in the Kyushu region – Miyazaki, Oita, Kumamoto, and Saga – located in Kyushu, one of Japan’s key gateways in the southwest. The visit aimed to foster local cooperation and enhance trade, investment, labor exchange, tourism, and scientific and technological collaboration between Vietnam and the Kyushu provinces. Fabbi was honored to accompany the delegation in meetings with provincial leaders and economic associations in the region.
The leaders of Kyushu’s provinces highly valued the contributions of the Vietnamese community, particularly in manufacturing, construction, and agriculture. They also expressed their strong interest in expanding cooperation to welcome more Vietnamese professionals in emerging sectors such as High technology and Digital transformation. This presents new opportunities for Vietnamese IT engineers to support Kyushu’s modernization and sustainable development.
During the discussions, Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu emphasized the importance of promoting business exchanges, encouraging Kyushu provinces to organize business delegations to visit and cooperate with Vietnam, while also creating favorable conditions for Vietnamese workers and enterprises to participate more actively in Japan. Additionally, the Ambassador called on the provinces to support the training of high-quality human resources, particularly in the field of technology, to meet the increasingly stringent standards of the Japanese market.
As a rapidly growing technology enterprise in Japan, Fabbi recognizes the vast potential for collaboration in digital transformation between Vietnam and Kyushu. It is hoped that the close connection between the governments and businesses of both countries will facilitate the advancement of technological solutions, enhance labor efficiency, and support the modernization of localities across Japan.
