FABBI HOLDINGS’ CPO SHARES INSIGHTS ON PHYSICAL AI AT KING MONGKUT’S INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY LADKRABANG, THAILAND 

As artificial intelligence moves beyond information processing toward the ability to perceive and interact with the real world, Physical AI is emerging as one of the key areas of interest among technology and research communities. The convergence of AI, Computer Vision, and Robotics is opening up new possibilities for building systems that can not only “understand” data, but also observe their surroundings, learn from humans, and take action in the physical world.

Following this research trajectory, Mr. Tran Dinh Tuan – Associate Professor at Shiga University, Japan, and CPO of Fabbi Holdings – will participate in a Special Talk entitled “From Human Workflows to Physical AI: Building Robots That Perceive, Learn, Act, and Interact in the Real World,” taking place on August 29, 2026, at the School of Information Technology, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), Thailand.

Starting from Human Workflows, the talk approaches a fundamental challenge in Physical AI: how AI can observe and understand the way humans perform tasks, recognize actions and context, and gradually transform this knowledge into capabilities for machine systems. When combined with Robotics, the challenge expands from perception and learning to action and interaction with humans and the real-world environment.

King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang is one of Thailand’s prominent technology-focused universities, with a strong orientation toward Science, Engineering, and Technology. According to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026 by subject, KMITL ranks 5th in Thailand for Computer Science. The Special Talk therefore represents more than a discussion of an emerging technology trend. It creates a space for dialogue between research directions that are addressing one of the major questions facing AI today: how can artificial intelligence move from processing information to understanding and acting in the real world?

Mr. Tran Dinh Tuan’s presence at this Special Talk also reflects the increasingly clear evolution of AI: from models to systems, from data to environments, and from generating answers to taking action. As AI moves closer to the physical world, the boundaries between academic research, engineering, and practical application are becoming increasingly interconnected.
